Nicely tone mapped Dave. Not sure whether that's a window in the West wall. If it is, there is too much of a difference in brightness between it and the side windows. If it isn't a window, it might be worth pulling down the brightness of the side windows a tad anyway.
Interesting interior, perhaps someone in charge got a bit personal with choice of colors. Nicely captured.
Nice image of a strange setup, of the church I mean.
Reminds me of pictures of the House of Commons, a peer to peer communications. I don't think that was the idea.
George
what denomination built the church?
Thanks George, I think the parson who had it built (the fourth Earl of Harborough) must have had a sense of fun. It has been likened to a German weather house, where the appropriate figure emerges from one of the two doors to predict the weather. Maybe whichever door the parson emerged from indicated his mood

Nice one
I googled your church to know more about it...I have never seen anything like it before. Strange that the parishioners (if all 40 of them attend this church each Sunday or whenever their church day is) are facing one another? I will be distracted by that.
This arrangement is like that in an Oxbridge college, and another of the Earl of Harborough's churches near to Teigh is just the same seating-wise. Presumably if you wanted to pay attention to the preacher, you ended up with a crick in your neck. But maybe everyone just spent their time admiring the finery and powdered wigs of those seated opposite
This is the other church:
Stapleford, Leics (built 1789)
