Speeding Missile
Actually, not a speeding missile. Instead, an abstract that looks like one. It was made by capturing a very small portion of this porron. When viewing the porron in typical conditions, the shape that looks like a missile is a small bubble in the glass. The green tones are typical of glass that is thick enough and made poorly enough to display them. Ironically, I like them in the photo, so I left them as is rather than make a monochrome image.
Setup
The background is white translucent acrylic. A small continuous-light lamp is behind it facing the subject and camera to outline the shapes in the glass in dark tones.
