Fine shots
Both scenes seem peaceful to me. Idyllic day out on the water. My only thought about the second pic is that I may have tried to de-haze it a bit. However, the foreground of the pic is nice and sharp and so are the vessels so maybe the little bit of haze in the distance indicates that it was warm that day.
I like both pics Makes me want to go sailing!
Nice shots.
Thanks John.
Recently I was able to enjoy a vacation on the shore of Lake Erie. Many of my next photos were either taken from a cliff overlooking the lake or from one of the many beaches on the shore of this lake. This one is from the bottom of a cliff below the cottage where we stayed.

This shot is from the deck of the cottage looking over the lake.

During our Lake Erie vacation we drove around the area visiting every beach we knew or had heard of.
while driving around we came across these horses in a field.

Because my frequency of starting threads is so wild ( first quarter 18, second 6 and to date 3 in third) , it makes more sense to me to count, not the week number of tne thread, but the number of threads I post in the quarter. That way If I miss a week, I can make it up in the following week(s) by doubling the number of started threads. And I can keep track of my progress of my target, 52 threads for the year.
As a result this is Thread 4 of 3rd quarter: Gone fishing:-

I think the only reason the P52 is weekly is to keep us on track and practicing. I'd think so long as you are still pursuing your development, all is well no matter how you post! Just my opinion of course!
I missed commenting on your horses. I love the animals and your first one is nicely captured. The second and third photos are not visible currently. Not sure what happened to them but when I clicked on the links Flickr said "oops.....etc." So you may want to check where they are?
The two men fishing certainly tells a story. Two fellas out enjoying the day! Beautiful weather - water is blue and the guy in the black shirt is about to pull in a fish! I wonder what they were trying to catch?
Nice effort!
Yes, a good capture of a piece of real life action. Sharply focused and well exposed.
Nice additions; The image with windmills at distance and that with Canadian flag needs slight rotation in clockwise direction,i suppose
Thanks Nandakumar. Perhaps; difficult to say. In the image with the Canadian flag: I used the horizon To establish level. But in this location there is a series of islands stretching out into the lake which are barely visible and which can fool the eye when striking a level. I did not use the pagoda structure as this required faith in the exactness on the carpenter.
Thanks John.
Thanks Geoff.
Thanks Sandy. I don't know what happened with the pics? I have replaced the last one. Perhaps it will show now. Sorry for that.
Hi Joe ~ Maybe the horses ran away? <LOL> Seriously though I now see the 1st and 3rd one and have concluded that the day you spent there must have been enjoyable and the weather beautiful. I can envision a set of these pics maybe in 8x10 hanging on the wall by my computer! These are peaceful scenes and well captured!

Looks good, Joe, but what is it in the sky to the left of the lighthouse in the second image? Looks like the mast of a ghost ship!
