    Zipper

Not much to say about this piece of installation art; the name says it all...

The photo is so nice that it's better in my mind than the installation art itself. I want to see the grass removed from lower right area of the scene in between the two parts of the zipper that are not joined together. I'm confident that doing so would give the viewer the impression that the zipper is zipping the grassy area to cover up the dirt.

Actually that is close to what was happening. The open part was mulch and the grass was all around it.

If you darken the lower right area of the monochrome version, it will work well. Otherwise, it doesn't convey the concept as well as the color version.

Got to agree with Mike here. The mono version is a well crafted B/W image but the colour version conveys the idea more effectively.

Mile, I'm aghast. With your penchant for detail don't you see that the zipper is unzipping?

Where in the world did you happen to find this one! If I have the place I will be tempted to do my garden that way to separate oe area from the other....veggies and herbs on one side and flowers on the other with the mulch in the middle. hahaha
