Donald congratulations on make your photography come back. As well as managing to keep the horizon level, you've made a wonderful image, well done

Hi Donald. I'm glad that you are healthy enough to start shooting again I like the image .
Donald, I think you have all the shades of grey in this picture.
Cheers Ole
Glad to see you are back at it, nicely composed and captured.
There is a small detail that makes the image so much more interesting for me than if it did not exist: the fisherman on the left is doing something with his fishing rod in stark contrast to the fisherman on the right who is only watching.
Congratulations also from me that you're back in the saddle!
Great to see you back Donald and to see that your photography clearly hasn't suffered. Nicely thought out image.
I am glad to see that you are on your way to recovery... Have you thought of a carbon fiber (light weight) monopod to assist you in holding your camera.
Thank you for all the kind comments, both in relation to my health and to the picture.
I agree Mike. He was sitting down. I noticed he was about to stand up and felt that he might do something interesting. And he did. There is a small detail that makes the image so much more interesting for me than if it did not exist: the fisherman on the left is doing something with his fishing rod in stark contrast to the fisherman on the right who is only watching.
I have a carbon fibre tripod.
This is an excellent image; i like the foreground subject as well as the cloud display; i am sure you are now ready to venture more into your dear hobby
That is a perfect way to return, Donald. The foreground is a narrow strip which isn't too heavy and everything leads on to an excellent sky. Plenty of contrast but nothing clipped.
