    You have a very interesting garden Brian. I googled beehive to see some more images of it. A nice plant. IMO you can try other shooting angles too . I had to look for the fly

    As it changes through bright red to midnight black I promise to try different angles. The fly is hard to spot. We're putting in ponds and a high fence now.

    I think I finally discovered the (very small) fly!

    It's an intriguing looking plant. What size is the blossom?

    Right hand side first wide open section. I just went out and the tallest blossom I found was 13 inches.
