A straggler from the photo safari
About a month ago, the wife and I took a walk around a couple of wetlands preserves near our house. This one that I didn't think was worthy....until I started working on it a little bit. The more I look at it, the better I like it. Don't know if everyone agrees, but, I thought I would post just for fun. This is a Tree Swallow if anyone was wondering.

Difficult background but it is sufficiently toned down to make this scene work well. Good focus and exposure on the subject.

Hi Brian I like the image, nice BG with a contrasty color, clear and sharp image.

Very nice image of a beautiful bird Brian. I like the contrast between it and the rusty post as well. My instinct though would be to lose about a third of the space on the LHS so that the bird is less central in the frame.

Agree with John's comment, Brian. Also it is a pretty bird. 'Haven't seen one before.
