Here's how it works ...

- You good folks post images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture)

- When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll

- After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

- If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

Welcome to CiC. It's normal practice not to comment on images put up into the competition threads until after a vote has been taken once ten images are posted.

If you want more immediate comments, then you should post it one of the 'Photo Commentary' threads - in this case it would be People and Pets.

As you can see this thread is now closed to further posts and there's a poll up at the top for you to indicate which you like (it's multiple choice - it's not which is best, it's which do you think are good images. You could check all 10 if you wanted). As Rob says below, the poll stays open for 3 days. Then the thread is finally closed and we can all comment on the images.

My suggestion Thayne is if you want some C &C "at the double" just start a new thread AND post the image to a competition thread too - nothing's ever a problem around here

I have to say I simply love this pic... not that I know many things technically... but there is a strong element of drama (in a nice sweet way) and a sober story in your frame... I personally felt the need to stop by and comment...
