My local race circuit has gone into receivership although there is some hope that some events can still take place. The news had me looking at some of the images I have made there over the last 2-3 years so this is not new although the PP is. Comments welcome as always.

This is an enjoyable effect so long as it isn't used too often. The only thing I wonder about is that the tire's shadow inside the frame is hard and to the side whereas the tire's shadow outside the frame is soft and a little forward.

Ah Mike/Ole, you are assuming that the light source in the world that exists behind the frame where the sun is forever shining, is the same as that in the gallery in which the frame hangs (I wish).

Nope. As my post mentioned, I was wondering, not assuming. Ha!

Seriously, the reason I was wondering is that I'm having a difficult time imagining hard shadows on both tires. I really don't know whether that would look good.

Not sure either Mike. As part of the processing, I started out by including all of the shadow area around the car. It didn't look right in this setting and I ended up with this. The soft shadow was deliberate because in the end I felt there needed something to emphasis the difference between the behind and in front of the frame. If I'm honest though, a soft shadow was just easier.

OOB...very attractive colour. My first thought is selective colouring of the red. Nice processing as usual.
