I thought your last image was a little underexposed for an image that you wanted to pop/sparkle. There was also quite a strong colour cast in the blues.
I did a very quick edit in PS, I desaturated the blue channel a touch and raised the exposure by 1.5. Result is below.

yes it does. never crossed my mind to desaturate the blue channel.
