Maybe you should have introduced some interaction between the two subjects. That what they're to me. The gloves even don't come from that bulb. Not one of your strongest compositions.

Hi Mike I like the lighting and toning, the light colors look very nice on the pale BG. I'm not sure about the composition though.

I determined the placement and the lighting by the relationship between the bulb's shadow and the cloves. Closer didn't work for me because of that shadow.

Mike, I quite like the cloves I don't like the bulb's shadow at all. This is a first no like from me. Ha! It happens even to the best

Yes, I thought that was the case when trying to work out the spacing, maybe the old composition adage of not using Even numbers of groupings ( not counting the shadow ! ) unless you deliberately want to create tension at work here. Still, a lovely toned study though I'll have to get into the vegetable rack more.

I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to your images. Just remember to photograph the veggies first and eat them afterward, as it doesn't work very well the other way around.
