    Garlic

    Setup
The tabletop and background are a single sheet of translucent vellum shaped so no horizon would be displayed. A small continuous-light lamp fitted with a diffusion sock is slightly above the scene on the right side. A white reflector is on the left side.

    Garlic
Maybe you should have introduced some interaction between the two subjects. That what they're to me. The gloves even don't come from that bulb. Not one of your strongest compositions.

Another metallic looking organic composition, nicely done.

Hi Mike I like the lighting and toning, the light colors look very nice on the pale BG. I'm not sure about the composition though.

The toning on this Hi Key is quite lovely Mike. Maybe a little closer together would work better ?

I determined the placement and the lighting by the relationship between the bulb's shadow and the cloves. Closer didn't work for me because of that shadow.

Mike, I quite like the cloves I don't like the bulb's shadow at all. This is a first no like from me. Ha! It happens even to the best

Yes, I thought that was the case when trying to work out the spacing, maybe the old composition adage of not using Even numbers of groupings ( not counting the shadow ! ) unless you deliberately want to create tension at work here. Still, a lovely toned study though I'll have to get into the vegetable rack more.

Ha! It's actually one of two "no likes" from you today, the other one being the red wine in red light. Way too funny!

I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to your images. Just remember to photograph the veggies first and eat them afterward, as it doesn't work very well the other way around.
