Helpful Posts: In the seriously light polluted mid-Atlantic seaboard of the USA one doesn't see many opportunities for night sky photography. With a trip to the west coming up soon where I hope to see some clear night sky I decided a little practice is in order. The fire flies were out in force thus the three green trails mid image.

This is so nice that if it was mine, I would digitally remove the fireflies. The image is a rare example of when the light pollution is actually attractive.

Nightscape. Very nice. Practicing for August 21 solar eclipse? That one is passing our way here. Hubby and I will have a picnic at our backyard with the doggies.
