Face-Off...
Lexie a three pound (~1.4 kilo) rescue Maltese Puppy is the last of 17 puppies we had in our home. She has been adopted but, her new mom is presently on a Queen Mary cruise and lexie is living with us until her mom returns.
Holly, our 70 pound (~32 kilo) Goldendoodle (Golden retriever + Standard Poodle cross) just loves the little puppy and despite their great difference in size is very gentle when playing with her little friend...
Trying a different location today. An old railway track (with rails removed) beside a small river has been turned into a woodland walk; and this stile was on a 'side route' into the woods.
On reflection, I think that I should have pulled back a little bit and shown slightly more foreground. But at the time I was more worried about getting the exposure and depth of focus correct.

Spent all day plastering so did not dare go anywhere near a camera... So had to wait until I got home...dark again! This is a shot of a 'picture' by Míla Judge-Fürstová. I would be very interested in any suggestions for lighting this; to explain, the boy is embossed into the paper, the girl is the shadow created from gold dust brushed into the pictures glazing..i.e. the glass was etched with the girls figure and then dusted with gold to create the girls shadow.
If you look closely the yellow of the gold is visible.
So, any lighting gurus out there?
Pete
We had a very clear, cold night and this morning just before sunrise the sky had numerous jet contrails. This one went from SW toward NE, likely Omaha to Chicago. Shot this with my E-330 and my Rokinon 8mm fisheye which happened to be on the camera. The aperture was probably f/8.0 - doesn't get recorded and I forgot because I was hungry
It was beautiful all day
