Faces of Pushkar India #4, C&C Most Welcome

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

Recently, I have started processing the project which i took last year "Faces of Pushkar, India". She is 13 year old girl from Rajasthan, India.

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, frame, crops.

    Thank You

PS : Please click on the image for lightbox screen view (Highly recommended)

    Another beautiful portrait, Raj.

Again a few minor things I would do differently than you have.

    1. There is a tiny bright spot where her finger and chin meet. I would clone that out.

    2. I'd probably set the white point a bit more to the left. The image is a tiny bit more muddy that I would like it.

    3. I find that the light hitting the model's hand is a bit brighter than I like it and I would burn that in a bit to remove that minor distraction.

    4. A bit of dodging and burning, especially the eyes and the lips to give them a bit more "pop".

    5. Finally, as this image is getting towards the glamour look, just cleaning up her skin a touch.

This try at PP doesn't make the young lady quite as glamorous. Rather it retains a lot of the grittiness of her complexion but, does smooth it out a bit...

This was a thirty-second edit with NIK Viveza. I placed a control point on her face below her left eye and extended the control circle to encompass the entire face. Then I placed control points on each eye so the smoothing of her face would not extend into he eyes. Selecting the control point under her eye, I drastically reduced the structure slider. I then selected the control points I had placed on her eyes and increased the brightness and structure...

For quick edits like I did here, I use the Imagenomic Portraiture plugin. It's almost as good as doing it by hand and takes no time at all. It is not inexpensive, but works very well.
