Every which way
Taken a few years ago after a light snowfall, while walking across a lightly used parking lot I noticed the wonderful contrast between the tire treads and the thin layer of clean snow, and grabbed this shot.
converted to black and white in Photoshop.
motorized Nikon FA
Nikkor 24 2.8 AIS manual focus
Fuji Sensia II 100 ISO colour slide
about 5.6 @ 1/60th

Re: Every which way
The characteristic that strikes me most about this photo is that an artist creating a graphic design might have been pleased with the exact same composition made of course with great attention to every sweep in the scene. Though I realize it took your great eye to capture that composition, it really is surprising that a few tire tracks resulting from a few people's daily activity with no artistic goal whatsoever produced such a striking appearance.
