Very nice light and colors John Where has the water gone ?
Nice shot.
Binnur, unlike the Mediterranean, the seas around here are tidal. The tide was out at the time and it looks like the tidal range is quite high because the harbour is quite deep but it still dries out at low tide. The recent mono that I posted of the fishing boat was taken in the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia. I'm think I'm right in saying that it has the highest tide in the World.
John, very nice photograph. The Fujinon 23mm f/2 is a favorite lens of mine.
This very successfully conveys the mood of time

Thanks all for the comments.
Dan, the Isle of Man isn't a town. As a small Island in the Irish Sea, it enjoys a curious status as a "self-governing British Crown dependency". As such, it's not part of the United Kingdom. It has its own government and currency which I was surprised to find is not accepted on the UK mainland even though Manx notes have parity with UK currency. There is also a Manx language similar to Gaelic. However, in general there is complete alignment in most things and Mark Cavendish who was born in Douglas the capital, has represented the UK as a whole in cycling.
