    Thank you John. I tried starting an album but although I was able to upload the image to an album, I wasn't able to upload it to my thread Could you please explain how you did it?

    John,
    I like the idea of making ordinary objects the subject of extraordinary photos, so I applaud your efforts.
    The bright light source casting a long shadow adds interest to the composition, but I keep wondering why the tack was not shown "doing it's job" that is to say handle side up with the point stuck in the surface.

    I wonder if John was thinking as I often do of photographing the subject completely out of context of how we typically view or use it.

    Hi Robert,

    I did a search of push pins and all were orientated in the manner you described. I though I'd something a bit difference; plus I think it adds a bit suspense pointed upwards. Thanks for commenting.

    Hi Mike,

    See #24, I thought it added a bit of danger and was unique in how the pins are usually displayed.
