    In Exeter Cathedral

This is the stone Pulpitum Screen, built in the early years of the 14th century between the Nave and the Quire (choir):

    In Exeter Cathedral

    Any comments welcome.

    Cheers.

The one thing that could be got rid off is that information stand (or whatever it is) right at the foreground and is in a really prominent position. Do a re-shoot without it there, or clone it out of this image.

I also wonder about the stonework on the Pulpitum Screen. It looks very flat. Dodging + possible Local Contract Enhancement to give it more 'punch' would separate it from the background

I think it would be worth investing some time in the image because, I think the composition is really good.

Agree with Donald here Phillip. Not so much bothered by the stand but the application of a simple S curve in curves improves the contrast and brings out some colour and warmth. A nicely symmetrical composition well handled though.

A bit more on top would've been nice. Nicely exposed, looks like you were dead set on getting the verticals/horizontals straight so I doubt you'd be interested in using a wider angle lens?

I am grateful to you all for viewing and commenting above. I hadn't noticed the stand but now it stands out every time I view the image! In processing I was a bit concerned not to take contrast and colour too far, but I will give the suggestions a try.

    Thanks again.

Very nice, Philip...I agreed with Donald's assessment too and I really like the composition.
