New Orleans form the 19th floor

Taken late last year when my wife and I took a short vacation in New Orleans.
Looking down from our nineteenth floor hotel room, I liked the view of an intersection with the shadows of the palm trees and pedestrians which added interesting elements to the composition, and grabbed this shot.

You have captured a scene that is full of interest Robert. Nice.

    Bill /Richard,
    Thanks for commenting.
I was very pleased with this scene and noticed it every day when I looked out the window.
Finally I took a few minutes to carefully watch the ever-changing scene and when the shadows were long and distinct and the mix of pedestrians reasonably good, I grabbed this shot.
I think what I like the best about it is a different point of view of a common scene.

It is seeing the pictures in the first place, is what makes the photographer stands out from others in the crowd.

Robert, just my two cents worth. I think this is a great photo. My eyes wander all over it. There are many nuances to this photo as well as several 30% crops to be had. That last bit is just my opinion. Just great. This is what photography is about.
    Cheers Ole

    Thanks Ole.
    I appreciate the compliment.
The original was cropped very little as I couldn't see any that I felt improved it so I left it pretty much as you see it here.
