It can make you dizzy

Taken a number of years ago at a recycling depot tank farm in the Portlands at the foot of Toronto close to Lake Ontario.
The Portlands is an interesting area that my photobuds and I prowl from time to time looking for eclectic subject matter.
On one bright, sunny f16 day I noticed the interesting shadows cast by the spiral staircase on the side of a large storage tank, and liking the composition, took this photo.

Another nice pattern, Robert. I think it would also work well in monochrome but I haven't tried it.

I wondered if someone would suggest a monochrome treatment, which I agree would work well.
But my reason for not doing so was because I wanted the little bit of blue sky at the top right to add context.

Lovely graphic image and super shadows. In my time at work I have walked up (and down ! ) these kind of steps and I can confirm if you look through the step it can make you suddenly dizzy, worst one though was a 100' high distillation column (cylindrical tower) with a vertical, striaght ap straight down ladder and just 10' diameter dome when I got to the top. View was special though
