    Kontinuum - Pushing the Limits

We spent the day in the downtown Ottawa / Gatineau areas visiting some of the free Canada 150 celebration sites.

This image was taken at an event called "Kontinuum", which is a sound and light show that has been set up at the Lyon LRT (Light Rail Transport) station, which is currently under construction. I caught a couple of kids dancing to the sound, lights and laser projections. Everything is quite abstract, other than the kids having fun...

Pushing the limits refers to what I did with the camera. ISO 12800, f/2.8 (wide open) at 1/25th sec at 24mm focal length (hand held).

Any noise software applied to this in processing?

On high ISO images I do the raw import with DxO Labs Optics Pro 11 and use the "Prime" noise reduction option. That is what I did here.

That is a good tool, isn't it?

Agree 100%. As a long-time Optics Pro users, the noise correction and lens correction (including CA) are superior to those found in Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw.

Interesting at ISO 12800. The composition is very good as usual. It is the noise reduction done well that made this for me.
