I met a fellow walking his dog. There were a lot of mooching gulls in the park. The dog was watching them while sitting nicely. I mentioned how well behaved he was. Our terriers would have been after them in a heartbeat.
The owner commented, he used to but now he just watches the birds he's too old to chase them. I patted the dog on the head and said "Welcome to my world."
