Apologies for not making comments buy I am on a very narrow bandwidth and just getting this image to load on Flickr took over ten minutes.

Re: Dry Dock
Hi Chris,
I saw you posted a similar shot to the monochrome mini-competition. I like the wisps of clouds that come through in the color shot but I think the monochrome treatment really makes the boats pop and also draws the eyes to the crisscross pattern of the alternating boats.
In the monochrome version I didn't notice the final boat was in the water. In the color version the one boat in the water stand out and sort-of breaks the pattern.
Both are great shots but overall the monochrome one really stand out for me.

Re: Dry Dock
Great composition and effect of the Big Stopper on the clouds. The water must have already been pretty smooth, as the reflections of the motors are surprisingly sharp.

Ahhhh, the light. Fabulous shot! That orangey brown and spicey red make the shot for me in addition to the composition and that light blue line on the horizon, and, and....;-)

Ten minutes well spent Chris. Lovely image. The recession into blue in the BG is just gorgeous.
