    Starfruit (also called Carambola)

    Setup
The background and tabletop are a single sheet of green presentation paper. A small continuous-light lamp fitted with a diffusion filter to produce soft shadows is in the right rear area. A flash light (torch) in the left front area lights the front of the subjects and another one in the right front area lights the background between the two subjects.

Awesome lighting, Mike. IMO the seed is a bit too prominent and creates a distraction. I like the idea of the seed in there but it is a bit bold.

Very nice image with beautiful colors Mike Your image makes me want to try this fruit. I really wonder how it tastes but we don't have it here According to uncle Google , it turns orange on the 12th week. But IMO this yellow presentation is more attractive.

    Thank you, everyone!

Dan: The seed makes the image for me.

They're delicious. We use them in fruit salad, along with watermelon, kiwi, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries. Tastes a bit like an orange, with a bit of tang to it.
