It looks lovely Arnold![]()
Very well done portrait![]()
Rrrrribit. Nicely done.
My favorite subject since we have bullfrogs in our koi pond. You have a nice pic of a "princess" in waiting!![]()
well done
A nice image Arnold. What sort of frog was it? My guess is that it is one of the Marsh Frog / Edible Frog complex (Rana ridibunda) rather than the Common Frog (Rana temporaria).

You photographed this one in a bottle? I understand...and she's pretty. How do you know it is female anyway?
Oaky, I have to admit, my imagination goes too far.I'm not an expert in frogs, so I assumed it was a female. The Latin name of the green frog is Pelophylax lessonae. Thank you all for your constructive words. The green frog lives in a water pool. This water pool is created by digging peat,a fuel that was used a lot about 130 years ago in the Netherlands.
That answers my question as to what sort of frog it was. I missed the point that 'Green Frog' was the name, not a description. This would be related to what we call the 'Pool Frog' in England (or at least in East Anglia where the Pool Frogs live). I admit to not being familiar with that species.
