Lower part of a hook jaw
The hook jaw of an adjustable pipe wrench includes the outer jaw and the guide that moves up and down when the knob is turned to adjust the size of the opening between the two jaws. This subject is that guide the knob turns on.
Setup
The background is red presentation board. It is lit by a flashlight positioned behind the subject set to a low output. A small continuous-light lamp on the right side fitted with two diffusion socks to reduce its brightness lights the front of the subject. A flashlight (torch) in the right rear area lights the teeth on the right side. Its brightest setting is relatively dim, which is ideal, because the battery power is low. A small flashlight fitted with diffusion material to reduce its brightness lights the teeth on the left side. A black flag placed between that flashlight and the lens eliminates flare.
