The Golfer
A piece of whimsy. I was trying to capture the tree using my IR-converted Canon 20D when the golfer walked into the frame. I quite like it. White balance correction was done with DPP and thereafter the image has been slightly cropped, some odd leaves were cloned out, and sharpening/LCE carried out via the Gimp.
Comments and crits welcome as usual.
Cheers

I think the golfer is an important part of the image.

Re: The Golfer
Without the golfer, this would be yet another IR image (and I do like those...) but the golfer gives an extra and needed dynamic.

Re: The Golfer
Thierry & Chuck - Thanks for the comments. I've been looking at the image again and I think the reason it has some modest impact is because the golfer is a mimic of the tree behind him. I notice the slope of the cart mirrors that of the LHS of the tree and the golfer's body stands in for the tree trunk itself. I guess that's what these lucky shots are all about.
Cheers
