    Somewhere near Punakaiki

This is an image that I made in 2014, I had previously processed it in colour. However this morning I decided to do something different. The image is from the side of State Highway Six (SH6) just South of the Pancake Rocks at Punakaiki on the west coast of New Zealand.
As always your thoughts and comments are welcome.

    #1 Original image

    Somewhere near Punakaiki

#2 Image reprocessed to enhance the sky as per Dan's (Northern Focus) suggestion

My thoughts are, that's a very nice seascape. I suspect that it is one of those subjects that has merit, albeit different, in either colour or mono. The luminosity in that far cloud is an eye catcher and is just where it needs to be.

Nicely composed image. I know little of B/W but it seems one of the advantages it has is bringing out detail in clouds. Perhaps you could do a bit more with that already lovely sky.

I don't have any great experience with B&W processing either. But I shall revisit the image to see if I can do something with the sky.
    Thanks for the suggestion Dan.

Dan I have added a revised image to the first post in this thread which has been tweaked for the sky. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Thanks Binnur, I may revisit that edit and give it a little bit more of a push.
