Looks like fun, John. Maybe you can use a bit of brightening on the right hand lady there. I like the expression of their faces -- they sure enjoy dancing. In between my tasks (if I am not taking a course) I had watched some Indian film on Netflix and they sure have colourful attires and smiles on their faces too. Their family closeness sort of resembles the Greeks and Italians too, in a way.
Nice one John. Nice bit of symmetry with both outside dancers lifting a leg - but of course you planned that.
Hi John.... very nice shot! Perhaps a little fill-flash might have opened the shadowed portions of the dancers.
I tried bringing up the brightness of the dancers in Photoshop but, working from a posted image resulted in too much noise. A flash fill might have balanced the brightness of the dancers against the brightness of the church which was in full sun...
One of the reasons that I purchased a second Canon 420EX flash on eBay was because the 420EX is the smallest full-size hotshoe flash that anon ever produced and is handy to carry around on shoots for when I need fill. I wanted to get a second 420EX before they became unavailable. I have a Canon 270EX II flash which is really nice because of its miniature size but, it doesn't really have enough power to work in a situation like this! The 420EX has about a stop and a half to two stops more power. Not a powerhouse in itself but, it is lightweight and available used on eBay for about $50 USD.

Better John...so much better with the edit.
Well captured John, they all seem to be enjoying their dance.
Love it! They have such wonderful expressions, and look like they are having fun. I smiled too.
Hi John I like the image and I find the edited version better. But I wouldn't brighten the BG so much.
Both of these are nicely processed, John...The yellow really dominates the shot. Pity about that woman on the bottom of #1 in this batch. Her head was cut off.
Between the two above, I like #1, the black and white. Colour is nice too but I think a bit too sharp? Everything is sharp..
Hi Izzie,
Thanks for comments, the sharp/too sharp comments gives me the most challenge when it comes to editing. I know part of the too sharpness critique involves the formation of haloes but sometimes it can also involve too much detail in what should perhaps be softer contours/shapes; especially when it involves skintones. I thought this particular image could handle a bit more sharpness as skin tones are secondary if not at all a considerable element. Always enjoy and anticipate your observations.
