Tripod and shutter release have arrived ... sort of

Yesterday the tripod and shutter release arrived. The tripod arrived in great shape as did the wireless shutter release. But the shutter release was not the right one. It was the one I ordered but the manufacturer claimed it would work with my camera and it didn't.

I got onto the B&H live chat with little hope of sorting things out. My pessimism was entirely unfounded.

B&H realized that this was not my fault.

They have given me a full refund.

Told me to keep the shutter release I had bought.

Sold me the proper shutter release and cable for my camera.

And shipped it half-way around the world for free.

I'm a happy camper. Thank-you B&H!

Now to go and get acquainted with my new tripod.
