Galena Footbridge
Another IR file from a recent visit to Galena, Illinois. This was shot against the light which gives a slightly different appearance. I added a slight glow to give it a more "dreamy" look. C & C welcome.

Re: Galena Footbridge
I like that Paul. You have got me going. I won't be converting a camera. I will stick with Ps cc's filter but I can see all sorts of possibilities.

Re: Galena Footbridge
This one has an interesting look. Without knowing it's IR first glance would suggest a winter shot with hoarfrost on the trees and grass.
There is a town named Galena up here as well. And a Galena Bay, one of my favorite spots in Prince William Sound.

Re: Galena Footbridge
This works so well on many levels, including the dreamy look. It's not at all overdone; very much the opposite, I thought it was created naturally by moisture in the air until I read your explanation.

Re: Galena Footbridge
This is absolutely wonderful. It does look winterish, and the dreamy look works
Thanks for sharing.

Nicely done! I can picture U.S. Grant crossing that bridge. O.K., I know that the bridge was built long after Grant lived in Galena

Re: Galena Footbridge
Thank you for your comments. I am looking forward to visiting Galena again in the near future for more IR photography. There are number of huge, old homes that are wonderful subjects for this.
