Actually, the ponies, cows, sheep and pigs belong to the commoners with grazing rights. The royals own the wildlife. I believe the New Forest was set aside a a royal hunting preserve a long time ago by American standards.

Yep, just back from a cruise through the Norwegian fjords an dare spending a couple of weeks in England. South coast this week, midlands and lancashire next then a day or two in London on the way home.

Unfortunately not. It didn't show up in our planning before the trip and we will be leaving for Dunstable Saturday AM. Other expeditions were planned for today and tomorrow.
