    Beautiful eyes on the frogmouth. Same color as most owls. Maybe a common theme among night hunters? Are the frogmouths widely spread across Australia or only in certain areas?

    The frogmouth certainly captures your attention. He's well camouflaged but for those eyes. Nice job.

    The Tawny Frogmouth is found all over Australia, the Papuan is only found on Cape York (Northern QLd) and the other sub-specie are mostly coastal dwellers.

    Good set. I partiularly like #3.

    #3 does look owl-like, but #4 belies its nightjar affinities.
