Semi Feral Kitty

"I'm staying put and won't come out until Halloween"



This black kitty is/was a feral cat who now lives in a cattery in our house. She is very wary and usually won't come out of the cattery until everyone (especially each dog) is asleep. I am the only one she will allow to touch her. She loves me and delights in being petted and picked up. However, she will hiss at my wife even when Judy is bringing her some food.

We originally got Black Kitty from the Barn Cats Association that specializes in getting homes for feral cats in large barns. She didn't work out as a barn cat so is now living a good life as a house cat and we still have mice in the barn

I really like the photo, perhaps because the cat is black and her face has a shape similar to our cat's.

I'm curious about your cattery. What does it consist of? I'm glad you've been able to domesticate her at least to a certain extent.

Good shot, Richard...she is very black.When you upload the second shot, I feel I am looking at a marbled 3-D eyes on top of a disk. Then looking at the original, it is the same, just a smaller version. Nice processing.
