Stop horsing around with my camera equipment

Went for a walk in a new area today and found a field with about 15 horses. One was particularly friendly but then, after photographing a group of others, I turned around to see this.

There is £1000 of equipment in that camera bag!

And while I was rescuing my equipment the horse grabbed the back of the jacket, which I was wearing, in it's mouth and refused to let go. It took several minutes before I could talk it into letting go!

I suspect it could smell a few chocolate biscuits which were in the bag, for my lunch.

OK, it was just being friendly, in it's own way, and I wasn't concerned; although anyone who wasn't accustomed to farm animals might have felt rather alarmed.

I'd certainly have been alarmed, I think I probably wouldn't have taken a photo! Nice amusing shot to have .

You should have asked him to join the forum - he can probably take better shots than all of us...

Now, that would have resulted in a brilliant explanation to the insurance company: "Well, I was in this field and ......."

Well you are in his backyard so I think he has the right to inspect anything you bring onto the property.

At least you had a shot of the incident for the insurance claim.
