Helpful Posts: I really like the cropped shot. Although the inclination is to shoot whole flowers sometimes detail shots like this work best. Nicely done.

Yes, I agree with Judith's assessment better. #2 it is for the story and #1 for the colour.

Thanks all for the additional comments - it' fun to see the shot I wasn't going to post is the one people find most interesting.
Doesn't that bug's eyes and his out of focus body bother anyone but me? I couldn't tone down his eyes any further though I tried!
