    Flight Post

Never realised that this was possible, but actually legitamately posting to CiC from 30000 ft is legit and possible!!!

Not sure I can include any images but just to prove it works anyway. Not all airlines have the facility!! I may have some other images when back on the ground for posting in due course.......

Nothing special 🙁 and a midnight trip to the north facing harbour did not yield any "Northern Lights/Aurora" despite online suggesting it might be visible.

Not back yet so will post others when able to upload properly.

The best thing you could post as your entry image will be an interior shot of your flight, if that is permitted

That is a shame. But yes being able to communicate down earth is good while on the plane. It is a very emotional "wow" feeling to see the aurora for the first time. Next time, try doing macro on the plane, like a shot of the ear of the passenger in front of you. LOL...j.k...have I done it? Yes. I have a good subject -- my sleeping husband. his sparse eyebrows is fun focusing on.

That's a worry Izzie, isn't he usually the pilot!

No pilots ears Dave, just a SOOC shot of Nidaros Domkirkes, the main Cathedral in Trondheim with a fabulous history and undergoing extensive restoration and repairs, including significant work currently underway by traditional English and Norwegian stonemasons. Must clean that image up and then repost it!

Not when we go commercial, Dave...so much to entertain myself with when I have my camera on board...I look at everything and change lenses, take pictures at some nearest object, even my free meals...or Bill's ears.=, the zit on top of his nose or something like that...

I am just giving Ian some ideas, ergo, I think these advices are bad ones. But he is a big boy. He can take care of himself and with a good head on his shoulders, he will knows the difference between a devil from an angel.

Ian...the one I saw in your link need fixing or straightening. It looks distorted, narrow at the top somewhat...nice church.

    Re: Flight Post

    Thanks Izzie.

Not been my usual critical self on this at all. Must do a bit of work on the SOOC shot.

There is also a pic on my phone of the wing tip, but the condensation in the window rather spoils it.

I am afraid I normally leave all the cameras stashed away when flying as conditions are far from perfect, and it is a few years now since I last had the privilege of being on the flight deck, where the more interesting photos are to be had.
