Cucumber Falls
This waterfall is an iconic scene in Pennsylvania's Ohiopyle State Park and it's conveniently just steps away from the highway. The shutter speed was 4 seconds, so I'm surprised the girl standing behind the waterfall shows so little motion. (She had no idea I was taking a photo of her.) Actually, I also had no idea I was taking a photo of her, as I was concentrating on other activities going on above the waterfall. Sometimes ya just get lucky!

Re: Cucumber Falls
Nice one. The gauzy veil is splendid with the girl. She makes it a much more interesting waterfall shot.

Re: Cucumber Falls
Mike, I love it. The inclusion of the girl was a nice bonus. On a more serious note - I was expecting seeing a fallen cucumber. I am quite upset now, so there.
Cheers Ole

Re: Cucumber Falls
Really nice image Mike. Did you use a ND filter? Agree the girl adds positively to the image.

Re: Cucumber Falls
I like this image Mike and as others have said, the addition of the person behind the falls is an added bonus. Do you have any idea why the they are called Cucumber Falls? It just seems to be such an unusual name for them.
