Coastal Defense Pillbox

This is a shot of an old Soviet era pillbox that was set up for coastal defense near the tip of the Saare spit on Saaremaa Island, Estonia.

Unfortunately, the builders decided to put it at a point on the spit where wave action from storms had a habit of changing the shape of the spit. It may be difficult to destroy one of these without the use of some very heavy artillery, Mother Nature seems to have managed by removing the sand and stones it was built on.
