Hi John,

I like the b&w conversion much more than the color. Too bad the reflection of the trees in the lower right corner is spoiled a bit by some sort of a rod driven into the turf at the edge of the water. I'm wondering if you could remove it without damaging the rest of the reflection.

Other than that, a nice image, as I've come to expect of you.

Thanks for comments, it was something about the color version that prompted me to convert; I think it was partially the distraction you pointed out plus the green skirt meandering throughout the composition.

John, those of us who wander the local parks are accustomed to seeing those green things the workmen let lie around un-necessarily. Too bad 'cuz they spoil many a shot. But in the b&w, they blend in and become part of the scene. So it's a good job to convert . . .

I suppose I could have toned down the green skirting but then it might look too serpentine.
