Lonely Island (B&W)

Rosario Beach - Anacortes. Sometime, I'd just like to capture the water and clouds. The island may dominate too much here. Probably lots of other things wrong with it
Not sure if conversion worked. (shadows left dark on purpose).
I still think it needs some work.

I like landscapes in B&W and want to play more with that side of it.

Perhaps a lightening of the island with some emphasis placed into the water and sky?

Agree with Brian, otherwise the tonal processing of the back/foreground looks crisp.

Thank you all. I agree I should have brought up the shadows more on the island, or possibly sillouetted it stronger.

I would lose some of the sky and go to a widescreen size ratio; maybe 16 x 9 ?

That, I suspect, would look fine with the rest of the image exactly as it is now.

Thank you Geoff. Yes, I am thinking a crop right about the very light cloud line above the bigger clouds.
