    I like the simplicity of this composition, Sharon. I think you might have increased the tension between the boat and the distant landform if the vessel was a little bit further to the left. Nice work.

    Very nice, you have to have an advantageous vantage point to get an angle such as this.

    Thanks Greg and John. Greg, the tension, yes the original version had the boat further left, but I had to take a couple trees out that I didn't want there .

    John, this was from a hike up to Sares Head in anacortes, on the way to Deception Pass. Wide open views, some really cool cliffs and trees and yeah water.
    From our house, we see some cool stuff too. Ferries coming in, etc. We are lucky to live here.
