    Looking out over Campbell Lake and some islands. On hike to top of Mt. Erie, Anacortes WA.

    This is another of those occasions where the initial image seemed a bit on the 'flat' side but the Lightbox view has a lot more 'pop' and looks good.

    Mount Erie is the very first hike that we ever went on in Washington. Back then people used it as a launch spot for hang gliding. Are they still doing that?

    They are, and it's really cool. Also a big with climbers. I remember being up on top with the pups one day, and saw a guy with ropes coming up, and he looked back and there came his 7 year old boy attached behind him!! It was awesome

    Thank you Geoff. I think while I am still learning photography, my editing skills also need practice right along side. Part of what I fear is taking editing/pop factor too far. I'm not a big fan of a Thomas Kinkaid look.

    Just need to keep practicing, and looking at the work here on CIC.
