Two steam horses

This is an example of the 1985 two-coloured "Dolly" special edition of the classic Citroen 2CV, or Deux Chevaux-vapeur ("Two steam horses"). I chanced upon it parked in the main street not too far from where I live, and nipped home to dig out the camera. It was raining, and there was quite a bit of traffic so not too many realistic opportunities to pose Dolly, and that's the main reason the first one has a quite heavy vignette.



I took two close-ups partly to get round the setting and partly to capture the effect of the rain on the rather splendid paint job.

Love these cars as well as the Citroen Traction Avant models. They don't make cars like they used to.
