Re: Larabee State Park sunset
Love the composition personally I would give a warmer softer feel in the sky .

A bit strong sky, perhaps, Sharon. I would also lift the shadows a bit.

Re: Larabee State Park sunset
I would crop just a little from the right side, Sharon, to reduce the dark 'heaviness' of that headland, which means a different image size ratio or losing a balancing amount from the sky. Otherwise this looks good to me.
You may get away with slightly brightening the shadows but beware of ending up with flat muddy looking colours. In which case I would leave it alone.

An attractive image.
The title, Larabee State Park, caught my attention. I googled it and see that the Chuckanut drive goes through part of it. This is a beautiful part of the world. My recollection of the Chuckanut is a very pleasant two lane road. Is that still the case (25 years after I was last there)?

Nicely composed image, Sharon. Chukanut Drive used to be a nice bike ride back in the 90s. Provided one rode it early enough in the AM to avoid traffic. Haven't seen it since so have no idea what's changed.

Re: Larabee State Park sunset
Thank you Geoff, absolutely. Way too much of the cliff and adds nothing.
Bruce and Dan. Chuckanut is still a beautiful road. One of my favs . Still two lane and gorgeous. Dan, we have something in common.... It's a wonderful road bike ride. Like doing it as well as around sodden lake and then coming back colony road. So pretty, and not super easy. Start at Edison school, can get about 50 miles in.
Thanks for the comments.
