    Peat Bog

    Peat bogs are one of my favourite landscapes to stroll through and photograph. This is the Viru Raba (Viru Bog) in Lahemaa National Park in Estonia. It has a lovely boardwalk running through it to protect the fragile ecosystem from people tramping through it.

    Lovely image... nice composure...
    Did the prehistory inhabitants dump sacrificed humans into the bogs as did the Celtic folks?

    Then a trip to Alaska could be downright euphoric, Manfred. Though we do tend to tramp around in ours. Along with the moose.
