    My lil girl

Got her to sit still for about one second.
    My lil girl
Kinda partial to this image cause it reminds me of a lady that I was very first taken by when I got my camera about a year or so ago, a Russian lady. Mine is not even CLOSE to that but..

Ok, I hope it's ok to share this

Maybe someone will find her Photography as interesting as I do.

Lovely image, Mike. I can see why you are partial to it. Love the light, color, the soft background which reveals enough to know what is back there, and your daughter in a sweet candid pose.

That's a very nice setting and the lighting - can't go wrong with a shot like this. There might be some alternative crops though.

Thank you for sharing the link to Elena's work. Very calm, powerful, somewhat dark and a little disturbing IMHO. I really enjoyed looking at her images but I am not sure I would like to replicate this style in my family photos. I don't know... Thoughtful children on their own not looking at the camera, there is a bit too much of it on her site.

Lovely shot. However, I agree with Dem in that alternate crops might be worth considering. I am not keen on an OOF foreground and might crop this area out...

I agree with Richard. Cropping at least some of the out of focus foreground would, to my mind, improve an already very good photo.

I noted there are a number of white dots/marks in the picture. I can't tell if these are caused by bugs in the air, dirt on the lens, etc. It might be worth removing them in pp so that they don't distract from the overall image.
