I spent hours photographing the lower town of Tallinn, Estonia from this location when I was here in May 2016.
The weather is not cooperating this time round...
This was as good as it got so far, and the weather forecast for tomorrow is not looking any better. Monday might be better, so I'll have to see what happens.
Tallinn has the most complete city wall in this part of Europe, with much of the wall and most of the towers and some of the city gates still in place. The "damage" was not due to war, but due to town growth and the advance of technology that rendered walled cities obsolete.
