Quickest Adoption
We were contacted by a family who needed to give up their Maltipoo (Maltese + Poodle mix), Gidget, and just about the same time, we had been contacted by a man in Oakland, California who was devastated due to the loss of his beloved Maltipoo due to cancer.
It just happened that that Gidget looked very much like his previous dog.
He applied to adopt Gidget and his request was approved. We received Gidget on Wednesday and had her vet checked, her teeth cleaned and shots administered on Thursday. The adopter drove down from Oakland (about 500 miles) today (Saturday) to meet and adopt Gidget.
They fell in love with each other. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

One leaves another comes in...
At about the same time that Gidget was picked up by her new dad, we received a new foster.
This is the entry image of GiGi that I shot to establish a baseline... On standard portraits, my wife is hovering over our dogs with a comb. However, we don't do anything to spruce up the dog for the entry image because we want to see what the animal looked like when we received it...
Gigi is a 14 pound year-old exuberant, year-old, Maltipoo who really needs grooming and some training, However, she is a sweet girl and we have hit it off tremendously. She spent last evening on my lap as I played couch potato watching the college football games. And yes, she was quite good once her energy was expended.
This gal needs a home with a yard and with an owner who is capable and willing to provide some basic training. On the other hand, she loves kids and is a great size for a family dog...

Richard, those are cool dogs. Do they have a "big dog" personality?
